My first ever OC. I honestly don't remember when this little goober came into existence. Sometime in my preteens. She is very special to me. She is a werewolf, mostly because I loved werewolves growing up. Which I've slowly begun to realize may have been due to their potential as an allegory for transness, with the uncontrollable transformation (*cough* puberty, menstruation and the lunar cycle) and all that. Anyway....she's my main girl. She was the first to develop her ability, having gained it at the age of five. She was actually born a wolf and gained the ability to transform into a human, meaning she sometimes doesn't live up to humanity's standards or desired behaviors. Even if the book I began writing with all of my characters was narrated by Aaron. More on that later.
Tobias "Toby"
Info
Age: 20
Ability: Electrical Manipulation
Relationships: Cara (Girlfriend), Aaron (Friend), Finn (Friend), Mark (Father-like figure)
Toby came along a bit later, and has changed the most physically out of any of my characters (excuse my younger self's inability to draw 3C hair in some of the older art). He's definitely the shyer one in the relationship, and, as the rest of the cast stumbles upon him a bit later on than they do Cara, he has the toughest time feeling like he fits in. Hell, he didn't have much of anyone prior to them finding him. But Cara can't deny that she needs him just as much as he needs her, and he's the only one that could ever crack that tough exterior of hers.
Aaron
Info
Age: 24
Ability: Sensory Manipulation
Relationships: Finn (Boyfriend), Cara (Friend), Tobias (Friend)
Aaron (and Finn for that matter) came along as....inspirations from my childhood crushes I guess you could say. They have definitely evolved to be characters of their own by this point, but it's still funny to look back on. Aaron's a sweetheart deep down, but is quite closed-off and private, despite his chronic longing for human connection. He's lived alone since he turned 18, which only worsened his loneliness, but finding Finn helped spark a sense of hope he desperately needed. The conflict of the story (that I promise I will eventually finish writing) begins when Aaron and Finn encounter what they later find out has given them their abilities, meaning they play a pretty major role in the story. Aaron also serves as our narrator, meaning we get to know the most about the inner-workings of his mind. I hope you'll follow the story of my man when it eventually comes into existence.
